seeds of happiness

 

Today was a mixed bag. Some really fun moments, and a lot of frustrating moments. One of the good parts was creating these little seedlings of happiness.

 

And now I'm off to eat cookie dough and drink margaritas.

In the works

I had this wonderfully delicious, large, piece of cardboard sitting around my studio, just begging to be painted. I splashed some paint on, got messy and played. I don't think it's quite finished yet. I hope to work on the background a bit more, perhaps with some Bloom True techniques. But for now, I am just loving it.

secret garden

This girl, in her secret garden, bloomed in my sketchbook. I hope to paint her someday, but for now, I turned her and her little garden into a digital creation.

It was fun to play with a digital face, but I still think I prefer the original sketch.

I've signed up for Bloom True with Flora Bowley and I am so excited for it to start, I can't wait for the 30th!

I've signed up for the great big stitched postcard swap, so now I need to figure out what my postcard design for CELEBRATION will be...
